"Fear Not the Sword" Workshop with Floreo

Do you have a sword but don't know what to do with it? Learn to incorporate sword work into your dance. In this workshop you'll learn: Sword etiquette, proper handling, and care of your sword; Graceful ways to introduce the sword to your audience; Balancing techniques; Solitary moves and combinations. Bring with you: minimum of one year of bellydance, eagerness to learn, balanced bellydance sword with no sharp edges or points, head scarf or flat head band to protect your hair, water bottle, dance shoes or other foot protection. We will demonstrate tribal-style moves, but our material can be used in both Cabaret and Tribal style bellydance. This is an intimate studio, so registrations will be limited.
